On February 5, 2012, the Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) hosted its Lunar New Year Festival. Sonia Paul (Shizuoka, 2009-11) and Cherie Young (Hyogo, 2008-10) represented JETAANC at the event and voluntarily manned an origami lesson table, teaching patrons both young and old. Additionally, they answered questions about Japan, the JET Program, and living abroad. Check out Sonia’s video below!
