We are currently looking to fill several officer positions on the chapter's leadership team! Officers play a critical role in shaping the chapter's community engagement, professional development, and social events.
This is a great opportunity to continue your JET experience with the alumni community and Japanese-related organizations while strengthening leadership, project management, collaboration, and event planning skills.

Vice President - Coordinates event planning as Activity Committee chair
Secretary - Coordinates scheduling and communications
Co-Treasurer - Support current Treasurer with chapter finance management, budgeting, and CLAIR Grant in Aid (GiA) applications and reports
Scholarship Chair (October - May) - Coordinates fundraising, promotion, and the application process for JETAANC's annual scholarship for high school students
Term of Office
Positions are typically held for one year. The Scholarship Chair may join for the full year, but most responsibilities will fall between October - May.
Eligibility Criteria Candidates must be:
JET Program alumni
A registered member of JETAANC in good standing (or willing to become a member)
Be able to commit for one year

Not sure about an officer position, but still want to lend your talents to support JETAANC? We welcome anyone interested to join the Activity Committee and help out at various events and activities, whether running events like karaoke nights and nomikai, managing social media, or designing posters and updating the website.
