Volunteers Needed: The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCNC) is looking for volunteers to help out with the Annual Colma Cemetery Clean-Up. Now in its fourth year, this event is a fun, memorable way to honor and remember those who have passed on while also forming connections with other engaged members of the local Bay Area community.
What: Colma Cemetery Clean-Up (up to 250 volunteers needed). Lunch, drinking water, garbage bags, tools, cleaning supplies, watering buckets, rags, and flowers will be provided. Please bring your own gloves. This event is free and open to the public.
Where: Japanese Cemetery, 1300 Hillside Blvd, Colma, CA.
When: Saturday, May 17th from 10am to 2pm.
