Brian was a Nagasaki JET from 2017-2019, working at a junior high school and two elementary schools in the suburbs near Nagasaki City. He spent most of his time in Nagasaki playing taiko at his community classes, running in races across Kyushu, and being his school volleyball team's biggest fan. Since coming back to San Jose, California, he joined the Activity Committee to give a cozier home for JET alumni. A lover of Japanese rock since childhood, Brian writes music recommendations on Japanese music on the JETAANC blog. Brian loves playing sports, rocking out on the drums (poorly), and watching the latest superhero TV show or movie!
