Peter served as an Elementary School ALT in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture from 2004-07, and was the JET Program Coordinator at the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco from 2007-2012. Peter joined the JETAANC board in 2019.

He currently serves on the board of the Japanese Culture and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC), San Francisco Okinawa Kenjin-Kai, and is the co-chair of UCSF Asian Pacific American Systemwide Alliance.

Peter is a resource to alumni for:

Peter currently works as a Product Manager at the University of California San Francisco School of Nursing.
