Ask JETAA Info Nights - Volunteer to Lead a Night!JET Alumni we need your help! We are getting bombarded with questions about Japan and the JET Program. "What should I bring? Where will I be? How do I buy a cell phone?" I'm sure you all can remember having the same questions. It's that time of year again to help prepare the new 2008 JET participants! How can you help? We need alumni volunteers for the Ask JETAA Info Nights **************** These are informal events where alumni gather in cafés/bars/parks to chat with departing JETs about their past experiences in Japan and to answer any questions the new JETs may have. They occur throughout June and July. ****************
We are looking for leaders for each night, and for a few assistants.
The leader will choose the date, time and location (throughout June and July).
We are hoping to
host "Ask JETAA" nights in San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, South
Bay, Sacramento/Davis, and in any other suggested locations. We also
have a few departing JETs from Nevada and would love to hear from JET
Alums in Las Vegas and Reno who would be willing to meet up with JETs
or be an email contact person.
