SONOMA
WINE TOUR
WHEN:
Saturday July 26, 2003
WHAT:
Wine Country Tour - Cycling Through Sonoma
Relive
your post-enkai charinko ride home with a gentle bike ride
through Sonoma. Actually we expect the tour to be more civilized
than a Japanese enkai, but we will meet in San Francisco and
drive up in a minibus to Sonoma, rent sit-up-and-beg bikes
and ride through several wineries in the Sonoma valley. This
is not an athletic event - two 70-year-old mothers have been
known to do this ride - it is more about enjoying the beauty
of the wine country in a mellow afternoon. The ride is about
10 miles in total, and includes 2 small hills. Helmets and
pannier bags are included in the rental fee.
WHAT
TO BRING: sun screen, water, picnic lunch
WHERE:
we will meet in SF -- we can figure out meeting points once
we know who is going
COST:
$38 includes transport and bike rental
SIGN
UP : we are limited to 15 people due to the bus, so the
first 15 (14 I guess, as I'm the designated bus driver) to
RSVP secures a spot.
