PEACE

WHEN:
Wednesday December 3, 2003, 9-5
WHAT:
The Peace Boat is a Japanese NGO that has taken more than
14,000 participants on voyages around the world since is started
in 1984. The goal of these voyages is to build a culture of
peace throughout the world by setting up networks of NGO's
and by studying local environmental, political and economic
issues. (www.peaceboat.org)
The "floating
peace village" will be docking in San Francisco on December
3rd, 2003, and the Peace Boat has asked JETAANC to take 40

around San Francisco. As a guide, you need to show them your
Bay Area - the way people live, work, communicate, interact
- and not necessarily take them on the usual tourist tour.

We will begin and end the day in San Francisco Harbor.
0900:
Hosts board ship, match, reveal missions and receive brief
student led tour of ship

and exact time yet to be determined)
