Come Whale Watching!

WHEN: Sat, Oct 12, 2002 8:30am-12:00 pm (Meet at 8:30am on Johnson's Pier at H-dock )

WHAT: Whale Watching. We're off in search of Humpback, Blue and Killer Whales!

WHAT TO BRING: Personal items you should bring A warm jacket, sweatshirt, and a RAIN SLICKER (rain or shine the wind might blow). A hat to protect you from the sun, rain and birds. Boots with non-skid soles. (Remember, it is a fishing boat and the decks can be wet!). Sun screen. A rag or towel to wipe your hands. Camera/Binoculars Bring lunches and snacks which are ready to eat. (There is no way to heat food on board.)

WHERE: Leaving from Riptide Sport Fishing inSan Mateo Riptide is located on H-Dock at Pillar Point Harbor near Half Moon Bay, California. Driving from the East follow Hwy. 92 West to Half Moon Bay. At Hwy. 1 turn right and travel North approximately 5 miles to Capistrano Way. Turn left at the light and take the next left into Pillar Point Harbor.

Driving from the North, take Hwy 1 South through Pacifica and past Devil
,s Slide. Just beyond the Half Moon Bay airstrip, turn right at the light at Capistrano Way and take the first left into Pillar Point Harbor. At the harbor, you may drive out onto Johnson's Pier to H-Dock to unload your fishing gear or drop off passengers and then return to the parking lot where you can park all day for free. The Riptide is located on your left at the base of the ramp at H-Dock.

COST: $40/ person (charter is limited to 20 people)
